My first BLOG !

You have to start somewhere, why not in your backyard…

I discovered the MAKRO button on Jürgs new 24-70mm lens, it stopped raining for a few hours late on this Tuesday afternoon, so I gave it a go.

It is amazing, when looking through a makro lens you suddenly see details and shapes you never noticed before ! And believe it or not, you all of a sudden look forward to seeing all sorts of “creepy crawlers” in your flowers !

Colour was easy, everything is in flower at the moment so there was an abundancy of colour to choose from.

Contrast is also no problem, I found one plant in red and green which formly exploded in colour, the yellow and brown of the sunflowers was also pretty good.

And then the close-up part. Now this was where we really got going ! Just one plant, a couple of very ordinairy bees, and some late sunlight. Added to that a very cool new lens, and an hour of comments like : ” one more, one more, this one is even better, cooler, closer ”  on my part, created this little photo gallery.

Did I mention it was Jürgs new lens……well, I think he’s just seen the last of it !

I love this makro stuff !!!
