it’s not so cold if you travel in summer !
I read somewhere only one out of every million people on this earth gets to see the Antarctic. I consider myself very lucky, and am truly grateful to be that one in a million person, which has seen, and set foot on the 7th continent.
And it is somewhat addictive, so only 2 years later we travelled north to Svalbard, to see the Arctic! The trouble is… now we don’t know which we like better, they are both extrordinary places with spectacular landscapes and amazing wildlife.
But since the arctic is a bit closer, and less expensive… after 10 years we decided to do a Svalbard-revival trip. Because being in the ice with a ship is just the very best and coolest experience !
