AN ISLAND FULL OF SURPRISES 

Usually all it takes is one photo. I see it, and my mind is made up, I want to go there. Madagascar has been on my mind for a while, and as I was told to go there rather sooner than later, well there’s no better time than right now. So we went on a photo tour with Oryx Photography, with  photographer Dale Morris and our Malagasy guide Nono Tianamalala. Between them these two guys made just about anything possible, and this trip one of my best photo holidays ever.

My first BLOG !

You have to start somewhere, why not in your backyard…

I discovered the MAKRO button on Jürgs new 24-70mm lens, it stopped raining for a few hours late on this Tuesday afternoon, so I gave it a go.

It is amazing, when looking through a makro lens you suddenly see details and shapes you never noticed before ! And believe it or not, you all of a sudden look forward to seeing all sorts of “creepy crawlers” in your flowers !

Colour was easy, everything is in flower at the moment so there was an abundancy of colour to choose from.
